    From Chinteche, head north on the M5 road towards Nkhata Bay. Continue for about 25 km until you reach the junction for Likoma Island. Follow the signs for the Likoma Island ferry terminal. After reaching the ferry terminal, you will need to take a ferry to Likoma Island, which usually costs around 10,000 MWK per person. The ferry ride takes about 1-2 hours depending on the weather conditions.

    In Chinteche, find a minibus going to Nkhata Bay. The minibus station is located near the main road. The fare is usually around 1,000 MWK. Once you arrive in Nkhata Bay, ask for the ferry terminal to Likoma Island. Purchase your ferry ticket (approximately 10,000 MWK) and board the ferry to Likoma Island. The ferry ride will take about 1-2 hours, depending on the weather.
