If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major city, which is Mzuzu. From Mzuzu, take the M1 road towards Nkhata Bay. Continue on the M1 until you reach the town of Nkhata Bay. From Nkhata Bay, take the road leading to Likoma Island. You will need to take a ferry from Nkhata Bay to Likoma Island, which operates several times a day. The ferry ride takes about 2-3 hours and costs around 10,000 MKW (Malawian Kwacha) per person. Once you arrive at Likoma Island, head towards the coordinates WP5V+H9, which is the location of Ndunda beach. The beach is accessible by a short drive or walk from the ferry terminal.

Public Transportation (Minibus)
For those using public transportation, start from Mzuzu and take a minibus to Nkhata Bay. Minibuses leave regularly from the Mzuzu bus station and the fare is approximately 1,500 MKW. Once in Nkhata Bay, you will need to find the ferry port to catch a ferry to Likoma Island. The ferry costs about 10,000 MKW and departs several times a day. After arriving at Likoma Island, you can hire a local taxi or ask for directions to Ndunda beach, located at WP5V+H9. Expect a short ride or a walk to the beach from the ferry terminal.

If you prefer a more direct route, you may hire a taxi in Mzuzu to take you to Nkhata Bay and then the ferry terminal. Taxis can be negotiated for around 20,000 MKW for the trip to Nkhata Bay. After taking the ferry to Likoma Island, you can hire a local taxi to take you to Ndunda beach for approximately 5,000 MKW. This option offers a more comfortable ride but will be more expensive than public transportation.
