Car
From Chinteche, head north on the M5 road towards Nkhata Bay. Continue driving for approximately 15 kilometers. Look for the sign for Kandoli Mountain Trails on your left. After turning left, follow the dirt road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Kandoli Mountain Trails. Make sure to have cash on hand for any entrance fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
Start at the main bus station in Chinteche. Look for a minibus heading towards Nkhata Bay. The fare is typically around 500 MWK. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Kandoli Mountain Trails. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the nearest drop-off point, you will need to walk about 2 kilometers along the dirt road to reach the entrance of Kandoli Mountain Trails. Be sure to ask locals for directions if needed.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Kandoli Mountain Trails, you can walk there. Starting from the main road (M5), head towards the dirt road leading to Kandoli Mountain Trails. It is about a 2-kilometer walk. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain may be uneven.
