If you are driving from the center of Chinteche, head north on the M5 road towards Mzuzu. Continue on the M5 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the vicinity of Mzuzu. Look for the signs indicating Lower Chasefu. Once you reach Lower Chasefu, use a navigation app to guide you to the coordinates H249+23V, which will bring you directly to Chawa Beats. There is no entry fee, but ensure that your vehicle has enough fuel for the round trip.
Public Transport
To reach Chawa Beats using public transport, start by taking a minibus or taxi from Chinteche to Mzuzu. The journey will take about an hour and costs approximately MWK 1,500 to MWK 2,000. Once you arrive in Mzuzu, you can either hire a local taxi or ask for a motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to take you to Lower Chasefu. Make sure to provide the driver with the specific location H249+23V. The taxi fare from Mzuzu to Lower Chasefu should be around MWK 1,000 to MWK 2,500.
