If you are driving, head toward the main road in Chinteche. From the center of Chinteche, take the M5 road heading north. Continue on this road for approximately 3 kilometers. You will see signs for Flame Tree Lodge as you approach the lodge. Turn right onto the dirt road just after the sign and follow it for about 500 meters until you reach the lodge entrance.

To reach Flame Tree Lodge using public transportation, first make your way to the Chinteche bus station. Look for a minibus heading towards Nkhata Bay or Mzuzu. Inform the driver or conductor that you want to get off at Flame Tree Lodge. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. When you reach the area near the lodge, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point. From there, you may need to walk about 500 meters along the dirt road to reach the lodge entrance.
