Car
From the entrance of Dzalanyama Forest Reserve, head south on the main road towards Lilongwe. Continue driving for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction at the outskirts of Lilongwe. At this junction, turn left onto Kamuzu Procession Road (B4). Drive for about 5 kilometers. You will then turn right onto a smaller road that leads directly to the area marked as THATHE, located at the coordinates 4P87+XH8. Keep an eye out for local signage indicating the garden area.

Public Transportation
To reach THATHE via public transportation, catch a minibus from Dzalanyama Forest Reserve heading towards Lilongwe. The minibus fare is usually around 1,000 MWK. Request the driver to drop you off at the Lilongwe bus station, which is a central hub for further connections. From the bus station, you can take another minibus or taxi heading towards Kamuzu Procession Road. Inform the driver that you want to go to THATHE, and they will drop you off close to the entrance. Expect to pay an additional fare of around 500 MWK for this leg of the journey.
