If you're traveling by car within Lake Malawi, head towards the Rumphi District. From Nkhata Bay, take the Mzuzu Road (A1) northbound. Continue on A1 for approximately 42 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for Chitimba. Follow the signs that direct you towards Chitimba. The camp is located near the lake, and you should see the entrance clearly marked once you're close.

To reach Chitimba Camp by public transportation, you can catch a minibus or shared taxi from Nkhata Bay to Rumphi. These run frequently and will cost around 1,000 MWK.
