From any location in Lake Malawi, head towards the city of Blantyre. Follow the M1 road south towards Blantyre, then take the T417 road towards Chigumula. Keep an eye on signposts indicating Bvumbwe Research Station. Game Haven Lodge is located on the T417 road near the Bvumbwe Research Station. The journey should take about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic.

Once you arrive in Blantyre, head to the local transport hub where you can find minibuses or shared taxis heading towards Chigumula. Inform the driver you want to stop near Bvumbwe Research Station. The lodge is located nearby, and you may need to walk a short distance. The entire trip may take around 2 to 3 hours including waiting times and transfers.
