If you are driving, start from the main road in Thyolo Highlands. Head south on the M2 highway, which is well-marked. Continue for approximately 5 kilometers. You will see the Thyolo Tea Estate sign on your left. Turn left into the estate entrance. There is ample parking available for visitors.
Public Transport - Minibus
From Thyolo town, take a minibus heading towards Blantyre. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Thyolo Tea Estate stop. The fare is typically around 200 MKW. Once you arrive, walk back approximately 200 meters along the M2, and you will see the entrance to the Thyolo Tea Estate on your left. Be sure to check the minibus schedule for return trips.
Public Transport - Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, hire a local taxi from your accommodation in Thyolo Highlands. The taxi will take you directly to the Thyolo Tea Estate. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should range from 1,000 to 3,000 MKW depending on your starting point and the taxi service.
