If you are driving, head towards the town of Nankumba along the M5 highway. From the M5, take the turnoff towards Nankumba. Follow the signs for Pumulani Lodge, which is located on the shores of Lake Malawi. The lodge is situated approximately 30 kilometers from the nearest major town, Mangochi. Make sure to have a GPS or map application handy, as the signs can be limited. The last few kilometers will be on a gravel road, so drive carefully.
Public Transportation
To reach Pumulani Lodge via public transportation, take a minibus or taxi from the nearby town of Mangochi to Nankumba. The ride typically costs around 500 MWK (Malawian Kwacha). Once you arrive in Nankumba, you may need to hire a local taxi to take you the final stretch to Pumulani Lodge, which is approximately 10 kilometers away.
