From any point in Area 47, head towards Kenyatta Road. Look for signs directing you to Lilongwe Nature Sanctuary. Once you reach Kenyatta Road, keep walking straight for about 10-15 minutes. The sanctuary is located at 2QMM+GP3, Kenyatta Rd, which is a prominent area. You will see the entrance to the sanctuary on your right side.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Area 47 towards Kenyatta Road. Follow the same route as for walking, but on a bike, it should take you about 5-10 minutes. Ensure to stay aware of the traffic and cyclists’ lanes available. Upon reaching Kenyatta Road, look for the entrance to the sanctuary on your right.

You can take a minibus from a nearby station in Area 47 that heads towards the city center. Ask the conductor to drop you off at Kenyatta Road; this should cost around 100-200 MWK.
