Getting There

Car
From Livingstonia, head towards the main road that connects to the M1 highway. Travel north on the M1 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for the Chitipa road. Turn left onto the Chitipa road and continue for about 15 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to Nganda Peak. Follow the signs and drive until you reach the base of the peak, where you can park your vehicle. There may be a small parking fee of around 500 MWK.

Public Transportation
From Livingstonia, catch a minibus heading to Chitipa. The minibus station is located near the market center in Livingstonia. The fare is typically around 1,000 MWK. Once you arrive in Chitipa, you will need to hire a local taxi or a motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to take you to Nganda Peak. The hire may cost around 2,000 to 5,000 MWK depending on negotiation. Make sure to ask the driver to take you directly to the base of Nganda Peak.
