Car
From Livingstonia, head south on the main road (C47) towards the direction of the Michiru Mountain. Continue driving for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction. Look for signs indicating the direction to Manchewe Waterfalls. Turn left onto the gravel road marked for the waterfalls. After about 2 kilometers, you will arrive at the parking area near the entrance to the waterfalls. Parking is free, but be sure to secure your belongings.

Public Transportation
In Livingstonia, locate the local minibus station, usually near the market area. Take a minibus heading towards the direction of the waterfalls or Michiru Mountain. Ask the driver to drop you off at the junction for Manchewe Waterfalls. The fare is typically around 500 MWK (Malawian Kwacha). From the junction, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers down the gravel road to reach the waterfalls. Be cautious, as the road can be uneven.

If you prefer to walk from Livingstonia, start at the main square and head south on the main road (C47). This will be a scenic trek of about 10 kilometers. Once you reach the junction, follow the signs leading to Manchewe Waterfalls, turning left onto the gravel path. The last 2 kilometers will lead you directly to the entrance of the waterfalls. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and carry plenty of water, as the walk can be strenuous.
