    From the center of Mangochi, head south on the M5 road towards Liwonde. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Shire Camp or Liwonde National Park. Once you reach Shire Camp, follow the signs to Smaltoursafari, which is located within the camp premises.

  • Walking

    If you prefer walking, start from the center of Mangochi and head to the main road (M5). Although it's a long distance, you can walk along the roadside heading south towards Liwonde. Be careful as the road can be busy, and it's approximately a 30-kilometer trek. Upon reaching Shire Camp, enter the camp and follow the signs to Smaltoursafari.

    From Mangochi, head to the minibus station located near the market. Take a minibus headed to Liwonde. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes.
