    Car

    If you are driving, head towards Nkhata Bay from any location in the Northern Region. The most common route is via the M5 road. As you approach Nkhata Bay, look for signs directing you to the beach areas. Once in Nkhata Bay, follow the signs to Dambo Village. Thambani Beach is located within Thambani Fishing Co in Dambo Village. There is a small parking area available, and you may need to pay a fee for parking, typically around 500 MWK.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Thambani Beach using public transportation, first, find a minibus or shared taxi heading to Nkhata Bay from cities like Mzuzu or Nkhotakota. The fare is usually around 1,500 MWK. Upon arriving in Nkhata Bay, you can take a taxi or a local boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to Dambo Village. The taxi fare should be approximately 1,000 MWK. Inform the driver that you are going to Thambani Fishing Co, and they will take you directly there.
