Look for the signs indicating the entrance. There is usually a small fee to enter the conservation area, typically around 1,000 MWK (Malawian Kwacha) for locals and 2,000 MWK for foreigners. Once inside, follow the road signs to the parking area at the base of Michiru Peak.

Public Transportation
To reach Michiru Peak using public transportation, take a minibus from Blantyre to Thyolo. These minibuses leave from various points in the city center; simply ask for one going to Thyolo. The fare is approximately 500 MWK. Once you arrive in Thyolo, you may need to hire a local taxi or walk to the entrance of the Michiru Mountain Conservation Area, which is about 5 kilometers away. Taxis can cost around 2,000 MWK to 3,000 MWK, depending on your negotiation skills.
