Car
If you are driving from Blantyre, head southeast on the M1 road towards Zomba. After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards Linyangwa on the M10 road. Continue on the M10 for about 15 km until you reach the junction for V775. Turn left onto V775 and drive for another 5 km. You will arrive at Mkanakhoti, which is located at V775+8G7, Linyangwa. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as some parts of the road can be rough.
Public Transportation
To reach Mkanakhoti using public transport, start your journey from Blantyre. Board a minibus heading to Zomba from the Blantyre bus station. The fare is approximately 1,500 MWK. Once in Zomba, transfer to a minibus going to Linyangwa (costing around 1,000 MWK). Ask the driver to drop you off at the junction for V775. From there, you might need to walk about 5 km to reach Mkanakhoti. Alternatively, you could hire a bicycle taxi or a local taxi to take you directly to your destination for a fee, which could be around 3,000 MWK.
