Follow the signs leading to Mitundu town. Once you reach Mitundu, continue to follow the road until you reach the coordinates PQWG+F8P. The Mlare Dam is located nearby; look for local signs indicating the dam's vicinity. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition, as some roads may be bumpy.

To reach Mlare Dam via public transport, first make your way to the main bus station in Blantyre. Take a minibus heading towards Lilongwe. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at the junction for Mitundu.
