From the main entrance of Liwonde National Park, head west on the M5 highway towards Neno. Continue driving for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach a junction. Take the right turn at the junction, following the signs towards Neno. After about 15 kilometers, you will reach Mtsukasengwa. Keep an eye out for the small signposts indicating the entrance to the site.

To reach Mtsukasengwa using public transportation, start by taking a minibus from the main bus station in Liwonde heading towards Neno. The fare is approximately 1,000 MWK. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the junction for Mtsukasengwa. After about 30-40 minutes of travel, disembark at the junction. From there, you may need to walk approximately 5 kilometers to reach Mtsukasengwa. Be prepared for the possibility of needing to negotiate a ride with locals or walk along the roadside.
