    If you are traveling by car, start from Blantyre, the largest city in the Southern Region. Take the A6 road towards Zomba and continue to the junction with the M1 highway. Merge onto the M1 heading north towards Salima. After approximately 90 kilometers, take the exit for Dwangwa and follow the signs to Ngala Beach Lodge. The lodge is located along the shores of Lake Malawi, so look for signs indicating 'Ngala Beach Dwangwa'. The total drive will take around 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic conditions.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    To reach Ngala Beach Lodge via public transport, first head to the Blantyre bus station and find a bus heading to Salima. The journey takes about 2 to 3 hours. Once in Salima, you will need to find a minibus or taxi to take you to Dwangwa. Buses to Dwangwa can usually be found at the Salima bus terminal. Upon arrival in Dwangwa, ask for directions to Ngala Beach Lodge, which is situated near the lake. The total cost for the bus ride from Blantyre to Salima is approximately 2,000 MWK, and the fare from Salima to Dwangwa will be around 1,000 MWK.
