If you are traveling by car within Liwonde National Park, start your journey from the main entrance of the park. Drive towards the Ndisale Trail by following the signs that direct you to various hiking trails. Continue on the main road for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for the turnoff to Ndisale Trail, which will be marked with a sign. Once you turn off the main road, follow the dirt path for about 2 kilometers until you reach the trailhead. Be cautious of wildlife along the way.

For those using public transportation, you can take a local minibus from Liwonde town to the entrance of Liwonde National Park. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you may need to negotiate with a local taxi or ask park rangers for assistance to the Ndisale Trail. The taxi ride should take about 20-30 minutes, and you can expect to pay around 2000 to 3000 MWK for the fare. Ensure to confirm the price before the ride.
