If you are driving from Zomba town, head east on the main road towards the Zomba Plateau. Continue on this road for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Zomba Plateau. Upon entering the Plateau, follow the signs directing you to the various attractions. The KAR War Memorial is located at coordinates -15.393813, 35.3120542. You will find it on a scenic viewpoint where you can park your vehicle nearby. The area is well-marked, making it easy to locate.

To reach the KAR War Memorial using public transportation, you can take a minibus from Zomba town to the Zomba Plateau. Look for minibusses heading towards the Plateau, which are usually located near the main market. The fare is typically around 500 MWK per person. Once you arrive at the Plateau, you may need to hire a local taxi or bicycle taxi (peddler) to take you the final distance to the memorial, as public transport does not go directly there. Negotiate the fare with the peddler, which should be around 1000-2000 MWK depending on the distance.
