Getting there

Walking

Start in the center of Zomba at the Zomba Market. From the market, head south on Market Street towards the main road (Chancellor Ave). Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with M1. Take a left onto M1 and walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Naisi Road. Turn right onto Naisi Road. Follow Naisi Road for approximately 2 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views. As you reach the area marked M847+5FX, look for signs pointing towards Hope Falls. Keep walking for another 500 meters, and you will arrive at Hope Falls, a beautiful and serene spot perfect for relaxation and enjoying nature.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Zomba. Start at Zomba Market and head south on Market Street. Continue straight to M1 and make a left onto M1. Cycle for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Naisi Road. Turn right onto Naisi Road. It's around a 2-kilometer ride to the area marked M847+5FX. Keep an eye out for signs to Hope Falls as you approach. The last stretch is a short ride of about 500 meters, leading you directly to the falls.

Motorbike Taxi (Piki Piki)

For a quicker option, you can hire a motorbike taxi, known locally as Piki Piki. From any location in Zomba, tell the driver you want to go to Hope Falls. A common pick-up point is Zomba Market. The driver will take you along Chancellor Ave to M1, then to Naisi Road. It's a direct route that should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Confirm the location with the driver as you approach M847+5FX to ensure you are headed to Hope Falls.
