If you're traveling by car, start from Kota Kinabalu. Take the Jalan Tuaran road heading towards Tuaran. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for Kota Belud. Turn left onto Jalan Kota Belud and continue for another 40 kilometers. As you approach Kota Belud, look for signs directing you to Pantai Emas. From Kota Belud town, follow the signs for Pantai Emas and then turn onto Jalan Payas Payas. The Kausar River Cruise is located on Jalan Payas Payas Pantai Emas, Kg. Kawa-Kawa, just a few minutes' drive from the beach area.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Kota Kinabalu to Kota Belud. Buses depart regularly from the Inanam bus terminal or the Padang Merdeka bus terminal in Kota Kinabalu. The bus ride takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Kota Belud, you can either take a local taxi or a ride-sharing service to Pantai Emas. Inform the driver to take you to Jalan Payas Payas Pantai Emas, Kg. Kawa-Kawa. The taxi ride should take about 15-20 minutes, with costs typically ranging between RM 20 to RM 30.
