Getting There

  • Walking

    From Tanah Rata town center, head southeast on Jalan Besar towards Jalan Pahang. Continue walking for approximately 500 meters until you reach the T-junction with Jalan Brinchang. Turn right onto Jalan Brinchang and walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Jalan Gopeng. Turn left onto Jalan Gopeng. Continue for another 2 kilometers. You will see Gaharu Tea Valley on your left, just before the main entrance to Gopeng.

  • Bus

    Take the local bus from Tanah Rata Bus Terminal. Board the bus heading towards Gopeng. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Gopeng town, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, walk along Jalan Gopeng for about 15 minutes (1.5 kilometers) in the direction of the Gaharu Tea Valley, which will be on your left just before the entrance to Gopeng.

  • Taxi

    You can hire a taxi from Tanah Rata. Inform the driver that you want to go to Gaharu Tea Valley, located in Gopeng, Perak. The journey will take around 20-30 minutes. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of Gaharu Tea Valley. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
