If you are traveling by car, head towards Kuala Lipis, Pahang. From the East Coast, take the East Coast Expressway (E8) heading west. Merge onto Route 8 towards Kuala Lipis. Continue on Route 8 until you reach Jalan Jelai. Thean Hou Temple will be located on your left. There is parking available near the temple. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around RM2 to RM5 depending on the time of day.

For those using public transportation, take a bus to Kuala Lipis from major towns in the East Coast, such as Kuantan. Bus services like Unititi and Transnasional operate routes to Kuala Lipis. Once you arrive at the Kuala Lipis bus terminal, you can take a local taxi or ride-hailing service to reach Thean Hou Temple. The taxi fare should be relatively inexpensive, around RM10 to RM15.
