Car
If you are driving from Taman Negara National Park, begin by heading towards the main exit road out of the park. Follow the signs to Kuala Tahan and then proceed to the junction that leads to Jerantut. From Jerantut, take the road towards Kuala Lipis. Upon reaching Kuala Lipis, look for the sign directing you to Kampung Kuala Kenong. The eco camp is approximately 30 minutes from Kuala Lipis, situated in Kampung Kuala Kenong. The total driving distance is about 70 kilometers, and be aware that the road can be winding in places. Ensure your fuel tank is sufficient, as service stations may be sparse.
Public Transportation
To reach Kenong Eco Camp via public transport, first take a bus from Taman Negara to Jerantut. Buses run regularly and the fare is typically around RM 30. Once in Jerantut, transfer to a bus heading to Kuala Lipis, which costs about RM 10. Upon arriving in Kuala Lipis, you will need to take a local taxi or grab a ride to Kampung Kuala Kenong. This final leg may cost you around RM 30-50. Ensure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary, particularly during holiday seasons.
