Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Kuantan, take the East Coast Highway (E8) towards Kuala Lumpur. After approximately 90 km, take the exit towards Kuala Lipis. Continue on Route 8 until you reach Kuala Lipis town. Once in town, follow signs to Zoo Lipis, which is located at the address 27200 Kuala Lipis, Pahang. Parking is available near the zoo.

• Public Bus

  From Kuala Lumpur, you can take a bus to Kuala Lipis. Several bus companies operate this route, and tickets can be purchased at the terminal. The journey takes about 3-4 hours. Once you arrive at the Kuala Lipis bus terminal, you can take a local taxi or a motorcycle taxi to Zoo Lipis, which is approximately 5 km away. Ensure you agree on the fare before starting your ride.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing Service

  If you are in Kuala Lipis, you can easily book a taxi or use a ride-sharing service like Grab to reach Zoo Lipis. Simply enter 'Zoo Lipis' as your destination in the app, and the driver will take you directly to the zoo. The cost of the ride should be around RM10-15 depending on your starting point in Kuala Lipis.

• Walking (if nearby)

  If you are staying at a hotel near the town center of Kuala Lipis, you can walk to Zoo Lipis. It is about a 30-minute walk from the town center. Head towards Jalan Besar, continue straight until you reach the zoo entrance. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
