After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards Jalan Sungai Besi and continue on the route. Follow the signs for Klang and merge onto the Federal Highway (Route 2). Keep driving for about 30 km until you reach Klang. In Klang, follow Jalan Istana signs, and you will arrive at Istana Alam Shah located at Jalan Istana, Kawasan 1, 41000 Klang, Selangor. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

For public transportation, start by taking the KTM Komuter train from any station in Kuala Lumpur (the KTM Komuter Sentul line). Board the train heading towards Batu Caves or Rawang and get off at the Klang station. The journey takes about 1 hour. From Klang station, you can take a taxi or Grab to Istana Alam Shah (about a 10-minute ride). The taxi fare will range from RM10 - RM15, depending on traffic. Alternatively, you can walk to Istana Alam Shah, which is approximately 1.5 km away, following the main road.

If you prefer traveling by bus, you can take an express bus from Kuala Lumpur to Klang. Buses are available from various terminals like Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS). The journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Klang bus terminal, you can take a taxi or Grab to Istana Alam Shah, which is about a 15-minute ride. Expect to pay around RM10 for the taxi fare. Alternatively, you can walk, as it is around 2 km from the bus terminal.
