    From the main resort area of Genting Highlands, drive down the mountain via the Genting Sempah route. Follow the signs for Kuala Lumpur, and merge onto the E8 highway. Continue on the E8 for about 35 km until you reach the exit for Shah Alam. Take the exit towards Shah Alam/KLIA and merge onto the Federal Highway. Keep following the signs for Shah Alam. Once in Shah Alam, look for signs leading to Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam. The entrance to the National Botanic Gardens will be on your left.

    From Genting Highlands, take a bus to Kuala Lumpur. You can catch a bus from the Awana Bus Terminal. Once you arrive at Kuala Lumpur, head to the Pudu Sentral bus terminal. From Pudu Sentral, take a bus to Shah Alam. The bus ride should take around 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Shah Alam, you can take a taxi or ride-sharing service to Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam. Inform the driver to take you to the National Botanic Gardens, which is located at Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam, Taman Botani Negara.
