If you are driving from Genting Highlands, start by heading down the winding road to reach the main highway. Take the exit towards Kuala Lumpur (E8) and continue on this road. Follow the signs for Shah Alam, which will lead you onto the Federal Highway (Route 2). After approximately 45 minutes, take the exit towards Seksyen 14, Shah Alam. Follow the signs to Pesiaran Tasek, and you will find Shah Alam Lake Garden (West) on your left. Be prepared for potential toll fees along the highway, which can vary but expect around RM 10.

To reach Shah Alam Lake Garden (West) using public transport, first take a bus from Genting Highlands to Kuala Lumpur. Look for buses heading to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS). The trip should take around 1 hour and cost approximately RM 35. Once in TBS, transfer to a bus going to Shah Alam (look for buses labeled 'Shah Alam' or 'Klang'). The fare for this bus is about RM 6, and the journey will take around 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Shah Alam, you can take a taxi or ride-sharing service to Pesiaran Tasek, which should cost about RM 10-15.
