If you are in the George Town city center, start at the iconic Komtar building (located at 1, Jalan Penang). From Komtar, head west along Jalan Penang for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Jalan Magazine. Continue straight until you reach Jalan Gurdwara, where you will turn left. Follow Jalan Gurdwara and it will lead you to Jalan Pasar. The Pulau Tikus Wet Market will be on your left at 3, Jalan Pasar.

Find the nearest bus stop for Rapid Penang buses. You can catch Bus 101, 102, or 104 from the city center. Board the bus heading towards Pulau Tikus. The bus will make several stops, but you should disembark at the Pulau Tikus stop. Once you get off, walk a short distance (about 200 meters) down Jalan Pasar, and you will find the Pulau Tikus Wet Market at 3, Jalan Pasar.

If you prefer a more traditional mode of transport, you can hire a trishaw from various locations in George Town, such as near the Esplanade or Komtar. Ask the trishaw driver to take you to Pulau Tikus Wet Market. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, and the driver will drop you off right in front of the market at 3, Jalan Pasar.
