Head towards the waterfront, and look for the sign indicating Tan Jetty, which is located at 48, Pengkalan Weld. The jetty is situated directly along the waterfront, and you will see traditional stilt houses as you approach. The walk should take about 10 minutes.

    Public Ferry

    If you happen to be further away in George Town, you can take a public ferry to get closer to Weld Quay. Head to the nearest ferry terminal, which is the Penang Ferry Terminal located at the waterfront. The ferry ride costs around RM 7.20 for a single trip and takes about 15 minutes to reach. Once you arrive at Weld Quay, follow the same walking directions mentioned above to reach Tan Jetty.
