Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the main entrance of Kinabalu National Park. Drive towards the direction of Pekan Ranau, which is approximately 30 minutes away. Follow the signs leading to Ranau and keep an eye on your GPS for directions to the coordinates 2M45+Q3, Pekan Ranau, 89308 Ranau, Sabah. Once you reach the coordinates, you will find Newton Tree Viewpoint on your right side. Ensure to park your vehicle safely at designated parking areas.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from the Kinabalu National Park entrance towards Ranau. Buses are available in the morning and early afternoon. The bus ride will take around 45 minutes to 1 hour. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Newton Tree Viewpoint or get off at Pekan Ranau. Once you arrive in Pekan Ranau, you may need to walk a short distance (approximately 10 minutes) to reach the viewpoint located at 2M45+Q3, which is easily recognizable. Keep local currency handy for the bus fare, which typically costs around RM 15 to RM 20.
