The distance from the park entrance to Timpohon Gate is approximately 4.5 kilometers and should take around 10-15 minutes. Note that there is an entrance fee of RM 15 per person for Malaysians and RM 30 for non-Malaysians.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Kota Kinabalu to Ranau. The buses operate regularly from the Terminal Bas Kota Kinabalu. Once you reach Ranau, you can hire a taxi or a local van to take you to Kinabalu National Park's entrance.
