Car
If you're driving from Kuala Lumpur, head northwest on the E1 (North-South Expressway) towards Ipoh. Take the exit towards Shah Alam (Exit 123). Continue on the Federal Highway (Route 2) and follow the signs to Shah Alam. Once in Shah Alam, take the Persiaran Sultan exit and turn left onto Persiaran Sultan. The Selangor State Memorial Monument will be on your left. There is parking available nearby, with costs that may vary.
Public Transportation - KTM Komuter
Start by taking the KTM Komuter train from any station in Klang Valley to the Shah Alam station. Once you arrive at Shah Alam station, exit the station and look for local buses or ride-hailing services. You can take a local bus towards the Seksyen 5 area, or you can order a Grab (local ride-hailing service) directly to the Selangor State Memorial Monument located at Pesiaran Sultan, Seksyen 5. The bus fare will be around RM 2-3, depending on your exact stop.
Public Transportation - Bus
If you prefer to take a bus, head to one of the main bus terminals in Klang Valley, such as Pudu Sentral or Terminal Bersepadu Selatan. From there, you can take an intercity bus to Shah Alam.
