If you are starting from the Kota Bharu Bus Station, exit the station and head southeast on Jalan Sultan. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several local shops and cafes. Padang Merdeka is located on your left, just after the junction with Jalan Padang Garong.

If you are at the KB Mall, exit the mall and turn left onto Jalan Pintu Pong. Walk straight until you reach the traffic light junction. Turn right onto Jalan Sultan. Continue walking for approximately 500 meters. Padang Merdeka will be on your right, near the entrance of the Kota Bharu Cultural Centre.

For those starting from the Sultan Ismail Petra Airport, you will need to take a taxi or a Grab to get to the city center. Request to go to Jalan Sultan, which is the main road. Once you arrive, follow the above instructions depending on your exact drop-off point.

You can take a local bus from various parts of Kota Bharu. Look for buses that head towards the town center. Disembark at the nearest stop to Jalan Sultan. From there, walk along Jalan Sultan for about 5-10 minutes, and you will reach Padang Merdeka on your left.
