Getting There

• Public Bus

  From the Kota Kinabalu city center, head to the nearest bus terminal, which is the Inanam Bus Terminal. You can take a local bus or a minivan (also known locally as a 'bas') heading towards Inanam. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Inanam Bus Terminal. Once you arrive at the Inanam Bus Terminal, look for buses heading to Kokol Hill or nearby areas. It’s advisable to confirm with the bus drivers if they go to Kokol Hill or if you need to get off at a certain point and take a taxi or ride-share from there.

• Taxi or Ride-Share

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider using a taxi or ride-sharing app like Grab. Simply input 'Kokol Hill Elf' or the address (Kota Kinabalu, Sabah) into the app, and it will guide your driver. The journey from the city center should take around 30 minutes depending on traffic. You can catch a taxi from popular spots like the Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal or any major hotel.

• Motorbike Rental

  For the more adventurous, renting a motorbike can be a great way to explore the area. Look for motorbike rental shops in the city center. Once you have your bike, head towards Jalan Kokol, which will lead you directly to Kokol Hill. Follow the signs and be cautious of the winding roads; it's a scenic but hilly journey. Make sure to use a map application for navigation.
