Walking
If you're in Downtown Kota Kinabalu, head towards the waterfront area. From there, walk along Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens until you reach the junction with Jalan Gaya. Turn left onto Jalan Gaya and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Jalan Bukit Bendera. Turn right onto Jalan Bukit Bendera and follow it until you see signs for the Kota Kinabalu Wetland Ramsar Site. The site entrance is a short walk down this road. The total walking distance is approximately 3.5 km and should take around 45 minutes.

From Downtown Kota Kinabalu, you can take a local bus that heads towards Likas. You can catch the bus at the bus stop near the Filipino Market on Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens. Make sure to ask the bus driver if the bus goes to Likas, as some buses may have different routes. The fare is typically around RM 2. Once you reach Likas, get off at the main road and walk about 1 km towards Jalan Bukit Bendera to reach the Kota Kinabalu Wetland Ramsar Site. The entire journey may take around 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic.
