Getting there

Walking

If you are starting from the Kuching Waterfront, head east along the waterfront promenade. After about 600 meters, you will reach the junction where you can see the Sarawak River on your left. Continue walking until you see the traffic lights. Cross the road at the traffic lights towards Jalan Tun Abang Hj. Openg. The Round Tower is located a short distance ahead on your right.

Public Transportation (Bus)

Locate the nearest bus stop on Jalan Padungan. Take a bus that heads towards the city center. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop near the Kuching Post Office. After getting off, walk towards Jalan Tun Abang Hj. Openg. The Round Tower will be a short walk from the Post Office, located on your left side within a few minutes.

Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service

If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a local taxi or a ride-hailing app like Grab. Simply input 'The Round Tower, Jalan Tun Abang Hj. Openg, Kuching' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the landmark, which is easily recognizable by its historic architecture.

Bicycle

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Kuching Waterfront and head towards Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman. Take a right turn onto Jalan Tun Abang Hj. Openg.
