The fare is typically around RM 1.00. After approximately 30 minutes of travel, disembark at the designated stop for Fort Margherita. From there, walk towards the Fort, and you will find the Water Cascade in the vicinity of the park area.
Walking
If you are near Kuching Waterfront, walk towards the Fort Margherita. It is about a 20-minute walk from the waterfront area. Head towards Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg and then take a left onto Jalan Fort Margherita. Continue walking straight until you reach the entrance of Fort Margherita. The Water Cascade is located within the park surrounding the Fort, making it easily accessible once you arrive.
Ride-Hailing Service
You can easily order a ride using a ride-hailing app like Grab. Open the app and set your destination to 'Fort Margherita.' The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the Fort, where the Water Cascade is located. This option is convenient and takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes depending on your starting point in Kuching.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer a more active approach, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local rental shops around Kuching. From the Kuching Waterfront, cycle towards Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg, and then turn onto Jalan Fort Margherita. The ride will take about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Fort Margherita, you can lock your bike at the bike racks available and enjoy the Water Cascade.
