Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving to Darulaman Sanctuary, start from Kuah Town, which is the main town in Langkawi. Head north on Jalan Padang Mat Sirat and then take the right onto Jalan Tanjung Rhu. Follow this road for about 15 minutes until you reach a junction. At the junction, turn left onto Jalan Lubuk Semilang. Continue on this road for approximately 10 minutes, and you will find the entrance to Darulaman Sanctuary on your right, located in Lubuk Semilang Kampung Buku. Keep an eye out for signage as you approach.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Darulaman Sanctuary using public transportation, you can take a local bus from Kuah Town to Pantai Cenang. Once in Pantai Cenang, you will need to switch to a taxi or rideshare service to reach Darulaman Sanctuary. Inform the driver to take you to Lubuk Semilang Kampung Buku, which is about a 20-minute drive from Pantai Cenang. The taxi fare will typically range from RM 30 to RM 50, depending on your negotiation and traffic conditions.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle in Kuah Town. From Kuah, head north towards Jalan Padang Mat Sirat, then follow the same route as for driving. This journey will take approximately 1 hour, depending on your cycling speed. Make sure to carry water and wear appropriate gear, as some roads may not have dedicated bike lanes.
