Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Car
If you are driving, start your journey from Kuah Town, which is the main town in Langkawi. Head north on Jalan Persiaran Putra towards Jalan Padang Gaong. Continue straight for about 15 minutes. You will pass through several local attractions and lush greenery. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Lubuk Semilang. Upon reaching Jalan Padang Gaong, turn left, and the Dream Forest Langkawi will be on your right-hand side. Parking is available on-site, but it may incur a small fee.
Public Bus
Use the local bus service, which can be caught from various points in Kuah Town. Board the bus heading towards Pantai Cenang or any bus that passes Lubuk Semilang. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach the nearest stop, you will have to walk about 10-15 minutes to reach Dream Forest Langkawi. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited during off-peak hours.
Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service
For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or a ride-hailing service like Grab. If you’re starting in Kuah Town, simply enter "Dream Forest Langkawi" in the app or inform the taxi driver of your destination. The trip will take around 20 minutes, and the cost will vary depending on the time of day and traffic, typically ranging from RM 30 to RM 50.
Bicycle Rental
For the more adventurous tourists, renting a bicycle is a great way to explore Langkawi while making your way to Dream Forest Langkawi. You can rent bikes from various rental shops in Kuah Town. The ride will take approximately one hour and is a scenic route with beautiful views of the island. Just be sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.
