Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Kuah town, which is located on the southwestern coast of Langkawi. From anywhere on the island, simply follow the signs to Kuah. Once you arrive in Kuah, look for signs directing you to the Kuah Jetty. The drive from places like Pantai Cenang or the Langkawi International Airport to Kuah takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic. There is no entry fee to the town itself, but make sure to check for parking availability near the jetty.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take a local bus or taxi to Kuah. Local buses operate from various points on the island, including Pantai Cenang and the airport, with fares generally around RM 5 to RM 15 depending on your departure location. Once you reach Kuah, you will need to get to the Kuah Jetty. Taxis are widely available and can take you directly to the jetty for about RM 20 to RM 30.

• Boat

  After arriving at the Kuah Jetty, you will need to take a boat to Pulau Tuba. Look for boat services that run regularly from the jetty to the island. The boat ride usually takes around 30 minutes. Check the local schedules as they can vary, but boats generally run several times a day. The cost of a one-way ticket is typically between RM 15 to RM 25.
