Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Malacca Straits Mosque, head east towards the main road, Jalan Taming Sari. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with Jalan Kota. Turn left onto Jalan Kota and walk for about 300 meters. Bastion House (Museum) will be on your right side, just before the roundabout.

    If you are at Jonker Street, exit the street towards Jalan Hang Jebat and head south. Walk to the end of Jalan Hang Jebat, where it intersects with Jalan Kota. Turn right onto Jalan Kota and continue walking for about 800 meters. You will find Bastion House (Museum) on your left side, just after passing the roundabout.

    From A Famosa Fort, exit the fort and head east on Jalan Kota. Continue straight for about 400 meters. Bastion House (Museum) will be on your left side. Look for the historical sign that marks the entrance.
