Walking
If you are in the heart of Malacca, you can start your journey to Malacca River Walk from Jonker Street. Head southwest on Jonker Street towards Jalan Hang Jebat. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Jalan Laksamana. Turn right onto Jalan Laksamana and walk straight until you come to the T-junction with Jalan Kampung Jawa. Turn left onto Jalan Kampung Jawa. You will see the entrance to Malacca River Walk a short distance ahead on your left.

From Malacca Sentral, take Bus No. 17 towards the city center. Get off at the stop near Jonker Street. Once you disembark, head southwest on Jonker Street towards Jalan Hang Jebat. Continue walking straight until you reach Jalan Laksamana. Turn right onto Jalan Laksamana and follow it until you hit the T-junction with Jalan Kampung Jawa. Turn left onto Jalan Kampung Jawa, and you will find Malacca River Walk a short distance ahead on the left.
