Walking
If you are in the city center of Malacca, start by heading towards Jalan Hang Tuah. From here, continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Jalan Laksamana. Turn left onto Jalan Laksamana and continue walking. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the iconic A Famosa Fort. Continue straight past the fort and follow the signs towards Banda Hilir. The Melaka World Heritage City is located in Banda Hilir, and you will soon see the historical buildings and attractions as you approach your destination.

Public Transport (Bus)
If you're at a location like Mahkota Parade Shopping Mall, walk to the nearest bus stop. Look for the local bus routes that head towards Banda Hilir. Take the bus that is headed to the Melaka Sentral terminal and inform the driver you want to get off at Banda Hilir. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Banda Hilir, get off and follow the signage to the Melaka World Heritage City. It will be within walking distance from the bus stop.

For a more enjoyable experience, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in the city center. After renting your bicycle, head towards Jalan Tun Ali and continue towards Jalan Hang Tuah. Cycle along the riverside path that will lead you directly to Banda Hilir. You will enjoy beautiful views of the Malacca River along the way. It should take around 15-20 minutes to reach Melaka World Heritage City by bicycle.
