Car
If you're driving from Kuala Lumpur, take the North-South Expressway (E1) towards Johor Bahru. After approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, take the exit towards Ayer Keroh (exit 228). Follow the signs to Malacca City. Once in Malacca, navigate to the city center and head towards the Malacca River. From there, you can find a parking spot and take a short ferry ride to Malacca Island. Note that parking fees vary, typically around RM 2-5 per hour.

To travel by bus from Kuala Lumpur, you can take a bus from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) to Malacca. Buses run frequently, and the journey takes about 2 hours. The ferry ticket usually costs around RM 10 per person for a round trip.
