Walking
Start from the Sandakan town center. Head towards the Sepilok area by walking along Jalan Leila. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Jalan Sepilok. Follow this road for about 3 kilometers. You will pass by several local shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for signs pointing to the RDC Rainforest Canopy Walkway. Once you arrive at the entrance of the walkway, continue on foot for another 500 meters until you reach Lepak Lounge, located within the RDC area.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Sandakan. Start your journey from the town center and head towards Jalan Leila. Keep cycling until you reach the roundabout, where you will take the first exit onto Jalan Sepilok. The ride will take you approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the RDC Rainforest Canopy Walkway, park your bicycle at the designated area and walk for another 500 meters to reach Lepak Lounge.
Public Transport
From Sandakan town, take a local bus heading towards Sepilok. The bus will drop you off near the Sepilok entrance. After getting off, walk along Jalan Sepilok for about 1 kilometer until you see the RDC Rainforest Canopy Walkway entrance. Continue walking for another 500 meters inside the RDC area to reach Lepak Lounge. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the return trip.
