Walking
If you are staying in Sandakan town, start at the Sandakan Harbour Square. From there, head east on Jalan Leila until you reach Jalan Buli Sim Sim. Turn left onto Jalan Buli Sim Sim and continue walking until it merges into Jalan Sandakan-Lahad Datu. Follow this road, which will curve along the coast, and after about 15-20 minutes of walking, you will see the Sepilok area sign. Continue straight until you reach Jalan Fabia, where the Rainforest Discovery Centre is located.
