From Sandakan town, head to the main bus terminal located at Jalan Leila. Look for buses heading towards Sepilok. These buses run regularly, and the fare is usually around RM 5. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Sepilok area, specifically near the Rainforest Discovery Centre (RDC). Once you get off the bus, it is a short walk to the entrance of the RDC.

Walking from Sepilok
If you are staying in Sepilok, you can walk to the Rainforest Discovery Centre. From the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, head east on Jalan Sepilok for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Jalan Fabia, and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You will see the entrance to the Rainforest Discovery Centre on your right. This walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
